Born in Paris on June 8, 1970, Patrick Mouratoglou long dreamed of pursuing a professional tennis career. His father's influence attempted to steer him in another direction despite a potential which ranked him amongst the best French junior players at the age of 15. This frustration strengthened his desire to never stray from his dream: to be part of the high-level, professional tennis world. After having completed business studies, he reunites with his passion by boldly creating his own tennis academy in 1996. If he could not himself become a tennis champion, he now made it his duty to train them. His motivating, atypical idea is to propose personalized training to the chosen athletes. Where other training centers or academies put forth a system based on natural selection by mixing a large quantity of players, Patrick Mouratoglou promises completely personalized training to a chosen few. If academy members dutifully respect his methods as a innovator, he in turn guarantees them a very small percentage of failure. |
